Built of cedar and stone, and one of our best renters, Lakewood is the only cabin in Birch Hollow with an outside, wood-burning fireplace on the upper covered deck and the only cabin with three completely private bedrooms, as well as the two largest bathrooms - one with a Jacuzzi tub and a shower. The secluded setting overlooking a babbling brook and catch & release fishing pond, and the fisherman theme make this an all-time guest favorite. This cabin has two large living rooms, each with its own gas fireplace, a wet bar and shuffleboard game downstairs in the recreational area, a hot tub on the covered lower deck, and a porch swing, gas grill and large outside eating area on the upper deck. Upstairs bedrooms have queen-size beds, downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed, and a day bed in the downstairs living room consists of two twin beds, increasing sleeping capacity from 6 to 8. A cedar tree standing atop the staircase, in the center of the cabin, is always a conversation piece. Huge laundry room with washer/dryer. DVD/VCR. Central HVAC. The satellite TV in this house is not always operational due to the extremely wooded location. We suggest bringing DVDs to watch when the television is not working.
